Governor signs bill to transfer land valued at $200 million to OHA
Governor Neil Abercrombie made history today by signing into law a bill that transfers 10 land parcels in Kakaʻako Makai to the Office of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA) in order to settle ceded land revenue claims that date back to 1978.

Among all the festivities at the 81st Annual Kamehameha Schools Ho’olaule’a, the Kamehameha Schools Class of 1977 bands together to coordinate bone marrow drive for classmate Natalie Oana at this year’s Kamehameha Ho‘olaule‘a on February 26 at the Kamehameha Schools Kapalama Campus on the Konia Field. Native Hawaiians have only 3% chance of finding a donor match. This event and future drives may help to save Natalie and many others.Featured Guest: Mona Wood-Sword, IKAIKA Communications
