Governor signs bill to transfer land valued at $200 million to OHA
Governor Neil Abercrombie made history today by signing into law a bill that transfers 10 land parcels in Kakaʻako Makai to the Office of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA) in order to settle ceded land revenue claims that date back to 1978.

Learn about cultural traditions during Seasons and the Sea at the Waikiki Aquarium May 2. As the sun sets into the crown of Pu`u o Kapolei, an occurrence that happens only once a year, it will officially mark the change from Ho`olilo, the wet season, to Kauwela, the hot or warm-dry season.
