Governor signs bill to transfer land valued at $200 million to OHA
Governor Neil Abercrombie made history today by signing into law a bill that transfers 10 land parcels in Kakaʻako Makai to the Office of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA) in order to settle ceded land revenue claims that date back to 1978.

‘Ike Ku’oko’a Initiative
The non-profit group Awaiaulu is seeking 3,000 volunteers from around the world to participate in a unique initiative to make 60,000 pages of Hawaiian-language newspapers accessible and searchable via the Internet.
