OHA Health Initiative
The Office of Hawaiian Affairs has identified health as a top priority for improving the well-being of Native Hawaiians. OHA believes that obesity is one of the greatest threats to the health of Native Hawaiians and wants to better lives. So, it is addressing obesity with a statewide campaign.

Hawaii Green Collar Institute
The Hawai‘i Green Collar Institute (HGCI) is recruiting college students for its new course, “Exploring Green Careers in Hawai‘i” to be held at University of Hawaii’s Leeward Community College. This independent study course (IS299) will begin in February 2012.
