Governor signs bill to transfer land valued at $200 million to OHA
Governor Neil Abercrombie made history today by signing into law a bill that transfers 10 land parcels in Kakaʻako Makai to the Office of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA) in order to settle ceded land revenue claims that date back to 1978.

Gov signed the bill into law transferring land in Kakaako to OHA
On April 11, 2012, Hawai’i Governor Neil Abercrombie signed the bill, SB 2783 into law transferring property in Kaka’ako as payment to cover a settlement of past due amounts owed the to the Office of Hawaiian Affairs from ceded land payments.
