The NHPAP is a new project under OHA created for the purpose of creating a greater voice for the Native Hawaiian community through civil engagement. There are over 5,000 full-time, part-time and volunteer presidential appointee positions. Mālama o Na Keiki is an organization focused on supporting families with little babies born healthy, preemie or with health challenges. Membership consists of neo-natal nurses, community caregivers and supporters who work directly with newborns and infants.
